If you have read the news recently, the number of unwanted animals in Malaysia are increasing and the amount of animals put to sleep totals up to over 18,000 per year now. Where it used to be only dogs and cats put to sleep, now other types of pets are affected too.
Animal Mansion is a non-profit online animal adoption center where they aim to gather as many unwanted animals as possible and put them up for possible adopters. The site also caters for Lost & Found pets and adoption drives, etc. As the site was just only started end-of-April 2010, they need your help to spread the message to all your readers to encourage them to put any strays or pets up for adoption.
They aim to gather at least 100 pets for adoption and have at least 50 of them adopted, all within the next 3 months.
It basically serving as an online adoption center, as many people don’t really want to take the effort to visit centers like SPCA, PAWS, Pet Epicure, just to name a few. Animal Mansion want to make things easier for people who are looking to adopt, but lack the time to actually search for the right pet. And it’s also a platform for people who cannot keep their pets or who have brought home strays to look for potential adopters. Usually when people are unable to get a proper home for these animals, they are either sent to the pound or left in a box somewhere. poor thing =(

Say Hi to our little princess.. everyone thought she is Persian cat(i mean now).. but NO, she is just a stray cat, a lucky stray =)
Mimi Jiang was found on July 2002. I still remember, that day was rain heavily and she got no shelter to protect from the rain. so pity =( i heard the sound of “meow meow meow meowwwww”, i guess she was crying that time.
i told my mom that the kitten was so pitiful whether want take him/her home or not. Out of my expectation, mom agreed me to brought the kitten home =D Anyway, its a SHE lol! Guess what’s my dog Baby did to her when first met her? He pee on her wtffffff! you can still see there’s a yellowish thing on Mimi Jiang’s tail now -__________-
p/s: she don’t eat fish, she eat MEAT lolol! that’s why she is very fat and also fatter than my dog Baby T_________T
she love to play hide and seek too =D
It would be great if you could write a short post on your respective blogs, as no matter what blog you own – whether it’s a blogshop or a personal blog. We are always around people who love & care for animals and would hopefully make a change. This is the first step.
